    Good evening all!

Is the latest Online Videos compatible with 1.17.x ?

I ask because there is conflicting advice out there:
    • Another thread on here says 1.17.x is compatible via the extensions manager.
    • The MP Configuration tool on my install says it isn't compatible
    • Another thread on this forum says someone is having problems after updating to 1.17.x

Am I good to go with a fresh download of Online Videos, or do I have to be a little more patient?

    Many thanks
    Robert

It does (well - so far so good anyway)

It shows as incompatible though on extension manager, so a note to others if you are trying this, you will need to disable the option to only see compatible plug-ins.

And it definitely does show as only compatible up to 16x here: Movies & Videos - MEDIAPORTAL

Many thanks doskabouter for your answer.

UPDATE for anyone else attempting this and having problems:

Either the upgrade install to 1.17 or the reinstall of Online Videos resulted in the common problem of URL not found for many sites. After much head scratching tt appears one of these actions wiped out my MPURLSourcesplitter folder but fortunately I had a similar folder still extant in the TV Server directory (use Windows search, you'll find it if you have it), and I solved the problem with a quick copy and paste into the proper directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MPUrlSourceSplitter

    As per this thread:
Problems with .f4m streams and newest MPUrlSourceSplitter
