OnlineVideos stuttering while watching zdf mediathek (1 Viewer)

Hallo,

there is a strange behavior of onlinevideos on my htpc. Watching zdf mediathek streams results in slowmo stuttering viedos - but i can see everything and hardly understand the sound - on my tv/speakers, while other channels work just fine (for example ard mediathek).

What could be the reason? any ideas?

My htpc:

- amd 240e on 880g mainboard with 4 gig ram, ssd, 2x hdd.

- Mediaportal, latest version (1.1.3 i think)

- only cyberlink powerdvd is installed and haali mediasplitter (without i was not able to watch .mkvs)

- onlinevideos plugin was installed with option "flv splitter"

First: Welcome to the forum.

You can fill your system specs here.

Can you try downloading an episode of zdf mediathek, and play that one?

If that doesn't play smoothly, it's probably codec related and you could try SAF for codec pack

i updated my sysspecs.

Furthermore, i tried to play the stream with windows media player. Everything is just fine.


BTW: Last time I tried using SAF, it all ended with reinstalling windows. MePo didnt played anything after the installation of SAF. So now, im quite happy with Cyberlink PowerDVD codecs...

You should also make them publicly visible here

And playing in mediaplayer classic/graphstudio?

In graphstudio you can check exactly what codecs are used, maybe that will give you a hint towards a solution?

ZDF has mms windows media format streams. There must be something wrong with your wmv codecs I guess.
