    Electuur,

On the german forums you suggested I found many people have similar issue as ours. However except few cases where people made it wrong, the issue is there. MTD does not work for many cards especially the mediaguard ones. SOmetimes it works with certain mysterious combination of software and driver but I tried already many solution of others over the last 3 months and still it does not work for me.
DD has to do a better job on the drivers. The issue is similar to Mystique as they share the same driver and hardware. So I guess the design of the card has been made by another company and DD and MLystique do not have the ressource to resolve the issue. I hope I am wrong.

Still I do not get why it work with your player. It could well be that at that time 1 of the channels was no encrypted. That happens often. Let us know if it still works on any channel of your provider.
    Thanks.

AW: Only 1 channels with Mystique CI possible?

    I did what you asked:

Start viewing NED1. Push record button. Select RTL 8 for viewing. Now NED1 is recording, and I am able to view RTL8. I checked the recording of NED1. The file size grows with every update. Then I stopped recording en shut down MystiqueTV. Unfortunately, the saved file contained only the sound of the recorded channel and no video. Therefore, I must conclude that simultaneous decoding of 2 channels with the Mystique CAM doesn’t work at the moment of the test. I was sure it worked. In the time between my previous post and the test, I have changed settings and software in my attempts to get the simultaneous decoding enabled in Media Portal.

I have tried to restore the simultaneous decoding with MystiqueTV, but until now without success. Anyway, thanks for your question. Next time I will do more testing and make sure that what I state is true.

    Bye,
    Electuur

I experienced similar thing when I used 1 tuner with CAM limit set to 2. The viewed channel was always decoded while the recorded one suddenly stop being decrypted but still being recorded as file size grew.

So MP did not report that the channel were not decrypted any longer but still it allows me to use a 2nd encrypted channels because the CAM limit was set to 2.
It would be interesting if MP could read an encrypted .ts and decode it during viewing

I want to learn Directshow to create Directshow filters with a tool like GraphEdit and than explore the possibilities of the Mystique hardware. Do you have experience with Directshow?

Yes, that is how TV Server will behave. It only checks the encrypted/decrypted status at the start of timeshifting or recording.

See my comment -->here<--. It is unfortunately not possible because the "access" to the CAM is strictly limited by tuner drivers. As far as I'm aware there are no PC tuners that could do this - only "live" streams that are passing through the tuner may be decrypted.
