Open/Close DVD Tray (1 Viewer)

Would it be possible to add in a feature to open or close a dvd tray

the reason i ask is that when my dvd tray open's the stealth flap covers the eject button so have to manually pust tray back

i've tried the open close utility in the downloads, but don't know how to add this is into media portal so can show as a menu item

Have a look in the plugin section. I thought that someone did create something (just from memory).

You need to use a utility to map the "open close utility in the downloads" to a remote button or to a keyboard keystroke.
You could use "MCE Replacement driver", "IR Server suite" (both available in these forums, use Search) or an external application like HIP or Girder.
You could also use AutoIT (www.autoitscript.com/autoit3) to write a script to create a hotkey for any keypress on your keyboard.
Personally I use "IR Server suite" and map the red Teletext button to open/close the tray
