Hi there,
I've recently installed Media Portal and have ripped some dvds to the HDD using DVDFabDecrypter.
However, Media Portal won't play them! Either with the internal player, or KMPlayer. I think it's a problem with how Media Portal looks up the files. I've had a look in the "Database" tab on the configuration and the file it links to is "Movie\Video_TS_VTS_01_0.IFO".
Now as far as i understand it, that .ifo file should just tell the player to play all the .vob files contained within the folder, but it doesn't seem to do this. I can load up .vob files using KMPlayer and clicking on the files themselves, or if i change what file the database points to I can put all the .vobs into there, but then MediaPortal asks me "Which disc would you like to play", and gives me a choice of the files contained.
It plays the tv shows fine using the Tv Series plugin which I have ripped in exactly the same way.
Anyone have any ideas? It's driving me mad!
