I've bought&nbsp; a lot of them last year as a factory (Platinum, for those who knows them)&nbsp; nearby (10 KM) has quit and they sold their remaining products for very little money. Aprox 50-60€ for a 3 TB USB 3.0 Disk or 10€ for a 2,5&quot; 500 GB USB 3.0... Brands are WD (the majority, mostly Green), Seagate (the second biggest part), Samsung (a few), Toshiba (two) and Hitachi (one)...Failures are not depending on Brand or Type, it's completely random how long a drive lasts here...Edit: For those who are interested I have about 2 TB free space on my main System, 100 GB on my Music NAS and below 1 TB on the Movies NAS. So not too much space left...</blockquote>
