Your specs very similar to mine. pre gfx card upgrade.Have Nvidia purevideo for DVD and TV. Default sound settingsDecoders Xvid, Divx 5.2.1, Roxio media 8, Powerdvd6 and of course WMP10. will not use ffdshow as previously screwed up video so not installed. and as of 29/3 RC3 + cvs (which has the timeshifting fix)and I must say system running smoothly. have done five recording TV,and watched a DVD last night at normal Nvidia Settings and great picture and sound.Have had problems as previously stated using both ffdshow and divx6, so leaving them well alone.ps forgot vobsub ( a must when watching Kung Fu Hustle) 8)
