If you are searching in a german-film-list you must to use the german name for it.

"Finding Nemo"="Findet Nemo"
"Anger Management"="Die Wutprobe"

thanks 4 your work Flip !!

    small issue:
try ""Armee der Finsternis", I don`t get this one from odfb. Using Quicksearch on the HP I found http://www.ofdb.de/view.php?page=film&fid=515

"Army of Darkness" doesn`t work too. Just get the imdb-version.

    I keep on testing ^^

Edit: find several more, all with space between words do not work

    can confirm this.
tried Nemo for "Findet Nemo" and Karibik for "Fluch der Karibik".
That works. When u search for the whole string it doesn't.
Another thing is thaat when u have more than one file in a folder the db picture is just set for the first file but not the others. Bug or feature?

hope this helps since it's a great one click (or two) information centre.

    Hi Flip,

finally had some time to test your script and I can only say GREAT!
Everything works fine here except the point cheffe mentioned above: If you search for a whole movie title (like "Herr der Ringe") there are nor results, but if you just enter "Ringe" all movies are shown...
Probably you can get this also to work then it would be just perfect ;-) What I also really like is the possibillity to search the german database besides the original imdb. So you also get the english results if there are no german!
    Thanks again,
    Maschine

    Hi Maschine,
u can do that (so it works for me).
As Flip explained u can set in MP.xml:

2

OFDB

10

IMDB

10

if u set limit values to other than 0 it will search both databases.
    hope this helps.

    Hi,

ok it is not tomorrow, yet. But i think the "long name bug" (e.g. "Der Herr der Ringe") is solved. You can grab the new VideoDatabase.dll.

    @m.zielinski and sickboy:
currently i can not reproduce this. on entering Futurama i get no errors. Can you please post the whole filename? Would be really helpfull.

    Happy testing, Flip.

    Hi Flip,
yo now it works. :D Thanx for your work.
One thing: when u already searched a title in imdb and now want to update it in ofdb the contents is changed but the title is still shown in english. Does that not get updated?
But it's getting better and better...
