This might seem like an odd question but....

I have some folders on my PC with files for a particular DVD.

ie
c:\Movies\Harry Potter

in that folder are the various IFO and vob files for that movie.

How do i make it so i can see this movie in MP in the video section
and not have to click on an IFO file ?
I just want to select the movie jpg itself.
Am i the only one with this problem ?

thanks

all you should need is to have say the movie like this on your hdd
c:\movies\harry potter
and with the normal dvd structure under that eg. VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS
Once you have that all you need to do is get a coverart for harry potter and stick it in the harry potter folder and call it folder.jpg
Then when you click on harry potter in MP it will start the dvd and you will be able to have it with a coverart
hope that helps

As long as your folder structure looks something like this:

    c:\movies\filma\VideoTS
    c:\movies\filmb\VideoTS
    c:\movies\filmc\VideoTS
    c:\movies\filmd\VideoTS

    Everything should work just fine.

Ok so I am having issues. All of my videos are in one folder like this one C:\My Movies\example\VideoTS

Then when I go into MP > My Videos > and then select "example" > it then shows the VideoTS folder > vts_01_0 > just sits there with a blank screan...

So what am I still doing wrong? Do need to try this out?

    Thanks

I think you are missing an underscore '_' and possible capitals within the folder path it should be VIDEO_TS not VideoTS as per the structure on a DVD.

An example from my machine is X:\Movies\Equilibrium\VIDEO_TS

Sorry about that, I do infact have the underscore there. Whenever I click on the first icon, as shown, the screen will just sit there and I can't go back a folder or even get task manager to come up. Is there some plug in that i'm missing or a setting?
    -Thanks again
