Organizing/Viewing Movie Extras/BTS (1 Viewer)

I have a lot of extras, behind the scenes, bloopers, etc for lots of movies that I have.
Was wondering if anyone has found a decent way to organize these with MP or if there is another plugin that can handle this?
Right now I just have a folder in My Videos, which is decent, but not perfect.

It is an existing google code MovPic project issue that you can locate and then 'star' to be kept informed on its progress. By starring the issue you also increase the odds that the issue will get implemented, because there are many other issues fighting to be added first.

In the meantime there are some work-arounds you can use.

You can go the tech route and adjust the skin to add another hyperparam button alike to how Trailers works via OnlineVideos. And then use a plugin that will accept the values that MovingPictures can provide to play those making-of/bloopers/etc (which might require renaming those files to follow a uniform method that is the same across all your movies). Not even sure if you can use MyVideos for that or if such a plugin even exists, but it would then be possible to add this function very easy, same way Trailers works.

The other way is to add the making-of/bloopers/etc is to (ab)use the multi-part file system. MovingPictures by default will look at "Movie Title CD1.avi" and "Movie Title CD2.avi" (or Part 1 + Part 2, etc) and 'group' those together as "Movie Title" and auto play CD2 after CD1 has finished playing. You can verify and control this grouping inside the "Movie Manager" overview by switching to "File Info" mode via the drop down box. To actually use this system, you can use MediaPortal method to skip chapters, because that will then jump to those other files. You could rename your filenames to group like a trailer file first, then the movie and all the bonus/etc files at the end.

Or as mentioned in the beginning, find+star the issue in question that will add better support for this into MovingPictures, but then you also need to have the patience to wait, because if say 80 users took their time to 'star' another issue, then guess which one the developers will most likely implement first?

I realise that this is an old thread, but did this feature ever get implemented in Moving Pictures or IMDB+ ?

@Dark Eyes, you can use the IMDb+ custom filename system for this. add "([Trailer #1])" to the filename for example, but keep the same tt-ID reference. It will create an extra menu entry for that though, but you can then tweak MovPic to an extreme by using view filters. Or rely back to the method I explained above in which you group it via CD1/CD2/CD3 method, and put bonus material at the start or end of the sequence.
