I use my laptop as my HTPC, which is kept near the TV in the house. It is connected to the tv via the PC IN socket. The laptop is connected wirelessly to my main PC upstairs. On this PC I keep all my files, tv shows, movies, music, pictures... you get the idea. Now this setup works perfectly and I am extremely happy with Media Portal and it's been working like this for a few months now with no problems. The small problem I am experiencing now is that I have a few movie files that when played on the laptop via media portal they are badly out of sync (audio/video), but if I play these files on the main PC where they are stored they are perfect with no problems. The sync problem only occurs with Media Portal on the laptop downstairs. It is not all files, probably only 5% of the files but I can't figure out why. If it was because of the wireless connection or a codec thing surely all the files would be out of sync but this is not the case. Any ideas??? [/QUOTE]
