Overlay in StreamedMP Skin not updated (1 Viewer)

Folks,

coming up with an issue, I have since a while and I'm not able get fixed - I guess I'm not the only one:

Having the newest StreamedMP release 1.7.1, incl. the newest Media Handler on MP1.2.1, it seems that the Overlay's will not get an update from the database until I reboot the PC or start MP new for the following Overlays: TV Recordings, Music - the other overlays (Moving Pictures / TVSeries) seems working fine.

I understand that this info is coming from the MediaHandler Plugin - however I can't find any entries to configure this.

Any thoughts? If needed, please let me know what debug files I should provide.

What exactly do you mean with overlay?
Latest added media?

In StreamedMP there is a window in the home Screen called Overlay. Content could be:
- Latest TV Recordings
- Latest added Movie
- Latest watched Movie
- Latest added TV Series

Yes, I guess this is also called "latest added Media".

And what is your problem exactly?
If you add a new music or recordings then there is nothing updated in the overlay in BasicHome until you reboot?

Thanks for clarifying this.
Would be good if someone else could test this.. I have access to my HTPC on Monday again. Then I will do a test.

EDIT:
Maybe you could post the skinfile where latest recording or latest music is added? Cause I didn't find it in StreamedMP trunk. I only found basichome.recentlyadded.movpics.VSum2.xml and basichome.recentlyadded.movpics.VSum2.xml.

If you don't find it please post your BasicHome.xml file from the skin directory here.

basichome.recentlyadded.RecordedTV.Summary.xml

I don't find them in StreamedMP trunk.

Did I understand it correctly that you have Fanart Handler and Latest Media Handler installed? (you can find them in MediaPortal Config -> Plugins)

Another way to see if its an Plugin or Skin issue is to use DefaultWide Skin and see if it works there.

The xml skinfiles looking good. So I guess its a plugin problem. Too bad nobody else likes to test. I will have a look on Monday.
