Synopsis::

This TV card is a hybrid tv card. I am trying to get an analog signal, not a Digital signal.

I have copied the info left on the forum for this card into the capture device file, and all I get when tuning channels is a black screen. I should shurley be getting a picture of some kind even when there is no station tuned.

Thanks for the help

The info I copied was:

<capturecard>
<capabilities>
<tv>
<interface>
<filters>
<filter>
<filter>
<filter>
</filters>
<connections>
<connection>
<connection>
</connections>
</tv>
</capturecard>

    A couple of comments:-

    The CaptureCardDefinitions.xml code you refer to that was posted here is only for the DVB-T portion of this card.

    I don't think that your TV card has hardware MPEG2 encoding for the analog TV portion, so you will need at least a 2.8Ghz CPU to do the software encoding, if you are trying to view analog TV.

    I don't think that the S3 graphics supports DirectX 9, so that probably explains the "black screen".

    Please check your system specs against the system requirements.
