parental lock on movies (1 Viewer)

Is there any plans for a parental lock on your movies collection? I love MP BUT, one thing I enjoyed on mce is that I have boys and have a few movies I would like to block by rating (example Rated R or PG-13) and needed to input a password to watch those movies. That's just one more to add to MP to make it the best ht software around.

MP allows pincodes (number passwords) on shares. So one "solution" would be to setup all rated material in a different folder (not beneath your usual folder) and set up a new share (in MP configuation) and set it to use a pin code.

You should still be able to browse all movies in your database, but you would not be able to watch them without entering the pin.

that is one solution BUT, I have all my movies categorized by genres action, family, drama, and on and on... So if I did it the way you're talking about I would have to pull movies from all my diffrent categories. Hopefully one of the experts will create a simple plug-in to be able to do this automatically like MCE, there you just tell it you want to block Rated R movies and add a password. I'm sure I'm not the only one that's thought about doing something like this. I just cant go back to MCE, I hate it, it drives me nuts, But it looks puuurrrtie. Just a thought, But anywaze thanks for replying to my post

You can try MyFilms plugin here but it needs to build an AMC Database. After that little work, you can define many configuration in the setup and protect some of them with a password.
