    Hi

    Problem
The channelname of a programme is not available in scheduler, recorded tv and search in the TV Plugin.

    Solution
I have patched three files in the TVPlugin to expose three #TV properties to the skin:

    #TV.Scheduled.Channel
    #TV.RecordedTV.Channel
    #TV.Search.Channel

This information was already available from a couple of other files in the plugin, but not consistantly.

    Affected files are:

    TVScheduler.cs
    TVRecorded.cs
    TVSearch.cs

The patch is against SVN 23545

Hope you will consider this patch, as it will make skinning easier, and make the windows more userfriendly. :D

Is this in mytvrecordedtvchannel.xml or in mytvrecordedtv.xml?

I cannot find the source-file responsible for exposing it to that XML-file...?

    Isn't mytvrecordedtvchannel.xml the same as mytvrecordedtv.xml (besides the ID's 603 vs 606)?

I haven't checked the SVN lately so can't say if it is missing from SVN.

Hi pilehave, it's the mytvrecordedtv.xml. Switching the view using the third button down still uses the same xml file. Not sure how to get to the mytvrecordedtvchannel and mytvrecordedtvgenre screens..

Thanks for the quick reply :)

I think we should consider exposing the channelname in the EPG too...that is one place it is really missing!
