Let me guess you're on Vista? I'm on XP.
You could try directx10 gdsx plugin supposed to be better anyways.

Yeah I am on vista. I do use Dx10 and I think it is much faster. What are your specs? I ask because I figured it would have to be fairly high to get good speeds with pcsx2 and Dx9.

See my profile, that's my HTPC. It can't run all games (like MGS3 for example) but manages to run some RPGs I like, pretty well.

The games I cant run I play on my C2D E8400 @ 4GHz, RAM @ 890MHz 5-5-5-15 T2, FSB @ 445, HD4850 (stock)

Hey pals! I used a wild guess option to go fullscreen and PCSX2 gave me the correct ones!
You can get it entering any crap on command line (shortcut line)
That's weird, but all the options starts with double minus

So to go fullscreen add --fullscreen and presto

Now I hope to find the way for immidiate shutdown of the emulator, Alt+F4 aint help
