Edit 08/10/2011 : This was an antenna problem.... Sorry

I have 2 Peak USB Peak DIGITAL DVB-T Freeview TV
They are really great cards for the price with MediaPortal 1.2 Alpha.

Today, I have just installed Mediaportal 1.2 Beta and i have the text box error "no signal" in Mediaportal.
If I Scan with 1.2Beta... No channel are Found...
    Any ideas ?

    Thanks

    Philippe

    Hi,

have your USB device some notification that signal is received (e.g. flashing LED, turning on light, some sound, etc.)?

    Hi Philippe

Sorry to see that you're having trouble. Could you please try using the DVBT network provider instead of the generic network provider and see if that makes a difference. That setting is known as the "preferred network provider" setting and can be found in the tuner properties (same place where the pause/stop graph setting is - here.

Just a quick comment to say that I also have this USB tuner - running perfectly with MP 1.2.0b. I did nothing special for the install, everything is at default.

Just to confirm this is the USB version not the PCI version?

I run the kworld 399U dual-USB version on 1.2.0B - no problems at all (on Vista 32 bit).

Which driver version are you running ?

Re: Peak USB DVB-T no signal with 1.2 Beta (No bug)

I'm confused, it was an antenna problem.
The two cards run fine with 1.2Beta, even in pause mode which improves time to change channels.

    Please excuse me again.
