I use a TT Budget C-1500 and it works with very little issues (I sometimes get blockings/stutters in stream, which is an aknowledged MP bug atm). (and a similar software setup as you do bigflause, I've seen you around )

It's not certain it's the card per se that is causing the issues for you, it might be related to your DVB-provider or a combination of the two.
