Personlizing My Mediaportal - StreamedMP (2 Viewers)

Hi - I was curious if anyone knew how to change the wallpaper screen for the play DVD shortcut in StreamedMP (the one on the basic home menu)? It seems to be pulling the same image as the movies button which is in my "\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP\Media\Animations\movies" folder. Anyone have an idea?

The same goes for the "play my videos button". Its pulling the movies folder image. I want to have 2 separate wallpapers for these two buttons.

you can use the basic home editor to modify basichome and of course the backgrounds... (choose one folder in \animations for each basichome-item, all images in this folder will be used)

Hey man - thank looks like the right solution. Thanks for the prompt reply. I however need to create a new directory in the animations folder to store my image (like default.jpg) so that I can select it in Streamed Editor. It didnt show up.


I then tried to just put another picture in the animations/movies folder, but it doesnt allow me to chose another image with the scroll down menu (its stuck on default.jpg).

Any ideas? Thanks for your help

non-standard-folders are not in the list, but just enter the name of the folder by keyboard and it should work...

edit: i think the default.jpg is shown when you do _not_ choose random cycling. if you enable random, all pictures in the "active" folder are shown alternating

Dude you rock thanks. All you have to do is type it in, and rename your pic to default.jpg. It works.

Is there a way to add a "play Blu Ray" button on the home page of the basic menu in SteamedMP and customize its pic exactly the same was as I did with the DVD button?

I just tried to do the exact same thing with a Blu Ray button. I dont see PowerDVD under the Blu Ray menu? Is there a way to get MP's default player to take care of Blu Ray?
