thanks for the quick reply. Do you have a set of filters that you recommend using or is the best way to do this a trial and error method?

as i've said in previous post "...place a check mark on Postprocessing and enable 'Automatic quality control' , and mplayer, accurate deblocking, Luminance and 'Full luma range'. Also activate 'Resize & aspect', set your preferred resolution (set horizontal & vertical size that fits your screen res and place a check in Resize always) and select 'Lanczos' in Luma method..." you can also experiment adding Blur & RR and/or Sharpen filters.

The best way for experimenting is place a check for processing only right half, and see how the parameters changes the image, that way is more easy to adjust different parameters (remember to uncheck this feature when finished). You will need to have both windows opened, one for the movie and also the ffdshow video decoder configuration window.
