Pinnacle Compatible? (1 Viewer)

I use:
AMD Sempron 3000
with Windows XP (Family) SP3
1.5Go RAM
ATI Radeon HD3450
Pinnacle PCTV 310i Pal

I have installed Media Portal and am very impressed with interface for CD / DVD / etc

All works well except it does not seem to recognise the Pinnacle Tuner. I am unable to find how to "install" the Tuner

Can somedoy help?

I am battling on and in configuration of TV Server have moved Pinnacle to top prority.
After waiting i Get a message:
Microsoft SI/PSI parser outdated!
Your version 6.5.2600.5512 of psisdecd.dll has too many bugs

Go to Wiki and the mediacentre page opens up but I am not sure where to go from there - I shall keep exploring but if someone could help it would be much appreciated

Hi.
Guess you got a software encoding analogue TV-card. In general, these are a PITA, and even if you got it working, it will probably chew your Sempron.

I had a bug with the DVB Hotfix which is now corrected.

The card is recognised in the configuration but now the tv channels window is blank

I have been back into the Pinnacle media center and from there all channels are recognised.

Do I have to re-tune in Media Centre?

The config of TV-Server was not recognising my Hybrid card which I am now working on.

Not sure I understand, but please consider reading a bit in the wiki, this particularly TV-Server/Configuration/TVServers/HybridCards - MediaPortal Manual Documentation

You need to attach the logs if it doesn't work, could be missing or wrong codecs...

After a day or so I have finally got everything working. (if all else fails - READ THE MANUAL!!!)
I am very impressed by the simplicity of the interface and to have all on 1 machine - Brilliant.
I will be attaching a remote to simplify access.

Well maybe I spoke too soon.
The Remote is giving a problem
I have tried to find a remote XP Media centre but cannot find one on the Net.
I run XP Home SP3
So I followed a post from Posso to change the profiles.ini file in remoterm sub directory of Pinnacle.
But in the mediaportal configuration I cannot find the "correct" remote to configure. Can anyone help?
