Pinnacle - unable to create graph, but encoders installed (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I have the Pinnacle PCTV (Rave) and get "Unable to create graph for this device!!" error. I tried searching this forum for the "unable to create graph" errors, i habe read some solutions but no luck to get the Pinnacle card to run with MP.
With the pinnacle software it works, also as with MythTV, but i want MP, because off al his features, i have configerd al lot of stuff already (music, tvseries,...) and it al works great, just no luck to configure the card.
If i read the log file, i doesn't know what to do, because it looks he see's the card and decoder :s

I hope someone could help me out !!!!!!!!

Then I installed MediaPortal and after that I installed WinDVR.

Then when I add my pinnacle pctv card it works fine

If it does not work you should try to start with a fresh install of windows. Possible that a lot of bad registry data is still on your machine.

I have the exact same problem with the exact same card. Anything else I can try (it's not very tempting to re-install Windows at this point).

Try unistalling windvr and install a trial of cyberlink power cinema, this has the cyberlink encoder and this fixed many a problem for me with cards
