I would love to be able to listen to music while watching live TV on mute. For example, when I am watching a football game and I don't want to listen to the really annoying anouncers, I would love to be able to listen to music while I watch the game. I don't know if this is possible, but it would be cool.

Does anyone know the latest on this one?

I would also like to play alternate audio (ie music, radio) while watching tv.

Agreed, it would be great if we could have the function back...
    Why was it removed?

To bring an old thread back to life - seems that the current MPII preview release is also not able to accomplish this. I can view two movies, but movie and music does not go together.

Is this something that will be supported later?
