Hi together,

today i updated to 1.2.1. Nice new look there!

Anyway, im facing problems when i would like to watch ripped DVD's. I also had this problem with the version before.
I have some DVD's ripped to my HDD. I used dvd-shrink so the folder-stucture is the same like an dvd.
Now i have to problem that the playback stucks, i see pixels and no clear picture.
I just have played arround a little with the codec, but it wont get better. Im not sure which codec is responsible for video-playback, also when it it a ripped dvd?!

Have anybody some suggestions for me? Install a new codec?!

thanks in advance!

regards from germany!

You need a DolbyDigital audio codec, I recommend using the desktop MP extensions installer to get the LAV filters, use the update option then install the LAV 0.42, make sure you have no other codecs installed, ie ffdshow\haali, if you have then uninstall and run filmerit and ccleaner registry checks, before installing LAV.

Now for all audio just select LAV, video leave as Miscrosoft, it should now play fine, slight delay of about 5-6 seconds before this happens though.

If using a external amplifier, then you need to go to the startmenu\lav filters audio properties and enable spdif settings.

    Regards
