Play RMVB file (3 Viewers)

Hi,
I'm using MP1.0.2 + SAF 4.0 beta 19.

System is ASrock N330.

I found if I play RMVB, the vedio output is not smooth. ( Other like AVI, WMA etc is fine)
If I download High resolution version, the problem getting worst. and even hang there. only audio is comes out.

I try play the file in KMPlayer and it is OK. thats mean Atom can handle the load.

Can I know whether it is problem of SAF or Real althernative?

Hi.
You need to unlock SAF. Check PM.

Anyway, I will try reinstall the Real alt and then reinstall the SAF again. see whether it can help.

No need to install real time alternative, it is included in unlocked SAF.
Can you provide video sample?

I update the new SAF4.0 beta 22 and it working now.

I also have a rmvb file that doesn't play in Mediaportal but does play in WMP...
I have unlocked SAF 5.0...Hoborg, do I need unlocked SAF 4.0 to be able to play rmvb files?
Or should it work when I re-install SAF 5.0 again?

You need to have SAF unlocked that is all.
Does it play in Graphstudio?
If not, can you provide small sample?

I can play your sample without any problem (tested in graphstudio).

When I change the MPEG codec in the videos section from Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder (PDVD10) to any other codec, it works...
Why does changing the MPEG codec has ANY effect on playback of RMVB files in MediaPortal???
