    Hi,

I'm not able to play any video file after upgrading k-lite codec pack to 2.5.x.
Playback is fine using MPC, and in GraphStudio.
I'm suspecting a compatibility problem with the new version of DirectVobSub (2.40).

Here's the error message I get:
2011-07-25 22:20:43.820800 [ERROR][MPMain(1)]: OnMessage exception:confused:ystem.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

I've attached all logs (debug mode, no skin, no plugins)

I'm not sure this is a MediaPortal bug, so I've also opened a thread in K-Lite forum:
MediaPortal playback is not working after upgrading to 2.5.x

    Thanks,
    Yoav

    Hi yoavain

Work on the principle, if it ain't broke, then don't fix it.

There are lot's of issues that need to be fixed here, some are just annoying, then there are bugs that really need to be addressed, on a scale of 1 to 10 stick with what's working for you, believe me I learn't the hard way, like most people, usually plugin\codec related, and if you want to test this, just run in debug mode from start menu.

    Regards
