    Hi,

I tried to watch BBC news on a client this morning and I got crackling and breaking video and audio which would not resolve until restart of MP on the client.

I have attached logs from server and client.

    Thanks,
    Chris

yes I see this as well. It doesnt seem to be consistant for me (with mpeg2)

MPEG2 channels (on clients) sometimes play fine for hours, and other times they freeze and corrupt every few seconds (can sometimes only get it to play again by stepping backwards then forwards)

H264 channels play perfectly on the server PC, but on clients they just corrupt and pixellate all the time (they will play ok for a few seconds, then corrupt, then play fine again for a few more seconds etc). Its exactly how they used to behave on my server PC before the new NALU code was introduced, which makes me wonder if this is caused by a bug somewhere in this area? Both codecs ive tried have the same issue (coreavc and powerdvd 9)

Has anybody got H264 channels to play ok on clients? I do use a wired network (100mb) so it should be more than capable of streaming ~20mbit video we get here in the UK. Ive tested the transfer speed, and it achieves a constant 11.5MB per second.
