Hello,

I’m having major playback problems with some .VOB files.
When I select a movie to play MP starts the playback as normal, but in task manager the program status changes to ”Not responding”, none of the skip steps, stop or pause functions work.
If I leave the movie playing after 5 minutes or so the video playback will freeze and begin to jump, the only way to close MP is via Task manager.

The strange thing is this only happens on certain movies, others play with no problem at all.
I have tried using the standard codec’s that come with MP also I have just tried using SAF v4 this makes no difference.

The files that I have a problem with can be played with no problems using Graph Studio.
:D

I have just noticed that on the 2 files im having problems with the Audio is playing in PLII 2, not sure if this will help.
Also when a working file is played the CPU usage is about 12 percent, when a non working file is played the CPU usage increases to 60 -70 percent, not sure if this is relevent also.

Thanks

I noticed a similar issue with the Davinci Code.iso where it opens as normal (DaemonTools & MyVideos) and once the previews go away and it opens the Root Menu of the movie the TOPBAR no longer exists and when I select any option the sound continues through the menu's closing and MP shows Not Responding in Task Manager. I have to End the task via Task Manager.

This is on my new Win7-based using MP 1.1.0 RC1 and sharing the file over my LAN The same file plays fine in the host WinXP-based MP 1.0.2

CAN a moderator relocate this to the 1.1.0 RC1 folder please -- seems to be a development issue more than a codec one! Thanks

    Fixed on Win7 w/New DaemonTools-Lite version!

The title says it all... The "check for Updates" flag from DaemonTools said there's a new version and now my Davinci Code mount plays fine! Well.... it gets past the hangup I'd pointed out above, anyway.
