When I choose to "play" an ISO file it will mount using Daemon which is fine. However it will not start playing and you need to select "play dvd".

Is it possible to make it play automatically and not just mount? I want it to be easy for the rest of the family to use and you shouldn't have to use two different methods depending on the format of the video (avi etc films will start immidiatly).

Tick the 'automount ISO files automaticly' in the Deamon section of the configuration (under general settings)

I think that I have that on already. But will check when getting back home.

Problem is not mounting the ISO file, that works fine. What I want when I click ok on a ISO is to mount AND play.

did you check videos section in MP settings ? there is an option for autoplay when dvd is inserted/automounted.

you can also right click on the drive letter where iso is mounted and goto properties and see the autoplay options.

Yes, autoplay was on in MP. However, think I have disabled autoplay for the drive (in Windows) since I got a Windows popup dialog coming up whenever I mounted an ISO file. Hmm maybe that is the problem. I think I was lazy and did just turn off autopaly for that virtual drive instead of disabling the popup dialog. I assumed that MP would take care of the autoplay (had forgotten about this until now lol).

Another option is to simple just copy the directory over from the dvd image. There are no saving in diskspace anyway using the ISO.
