Playing AVI videos restart MP !? (1 Viewer)

Windows XP home SP3 / 4Go RAM
Default Skin
MediaPortal / TV-Server 1.0 RC2
Xvid / Divx codec / Haali (last versions)
Audio pro card Lynx L22
Terratec i2400DT double DVB-T tuner


Hello,
i am a new user of MP and firstly i would like to congratulate the community for developping such an advanced and very good end user front end HTPC software.

After installing and configuring MP, i face a strange problem with playing AVI videos under MyVideo plugin.
Indeed, i have AVI and Mpeg videos (coded in Divx & Xvid) and when i play or resume AVI movies, MP minimizes and restarts but movie does not play. I have to start again the movie in order to play it. After that MP seems unstable because when i stop the movie MP leaves but i cannot launch MP again (MP process appears in the process tasks). I have to delete manually to be able to run again MP.

This problem does not occur for Mpeg movies and recorded TV shows.

Any ideas?

Concerning specs signature, i just configured it on my profile page.

I resolved the problem in selecting EVR video renderer

I found a solution in another post and it works with VRM9. I just untick options in the divx toolbar configuration

Unfortunatly, i played another avi movie and problem re-occurs.

I uninstall divx & xvid to replace by ffdshow and now it works
