OK, I have a wierd one.

This issue is when playing video from .iso file.

Using Cyberlink or ffdshow:
when playing the video (and it plays fine) and I hit the stop button on the remote, or hit the "b" button on the keyboard, MP crashes. and I mean CRASHES. It just dumps out. no errors in the log files nothing. it just flat dies.

If I use the MPC-MPA decoder:
when playing the video, it starts playing fine, but when it hits the dvd menu, the screen goes black and no video is displayed. Again, no errors in the logs anywhere.

I don't have access to the machine at the moment. It is my brother in laws. If you need the logs, I can post them later. I was HOPING that someone had seen this before.

thanks.

I had this problem with SEVERAL codecs on XP. I eventually had to install the Power DVD 9 decoder to get everything to play correctly.

My solution that fixed it perfectly... disable the minidisplay plugin and uninstall the IMON drivers. no more issues. went back to a Microsoft remote and all is good. I will never buy a soundgraph (imon) product again.
