Hey guys - I'm trying to play a mkv file I made from one of my DVDs in MP. The .mkv file is a container and holds all the audio streams and subtitles etc. How do I select the default stream I want always want to play for this file (ie. I dont have 5.1 so I want to select the stereo stream). I currently have no sound because the 5.1 stream is playing. The video plays fine, just no sound. I dont have the problem with the subtitles displaying yet, although I would hope that when people are speaking Vampire that the English forced subtitles will appear. In the event they are in Spanish, how would I select which subtitle stream I want (same principle as the audio selection). Thanks.:thx: ___________________________ UPDATE: I think this has something to do with an AC3 filter because I just tried a file without DTS and just AC3, and it didnt work either. There is picture, but no sound. When I tried this file in PowerDVD however, it worked. Any idea whats going on? Summary: File 1: DTS+AC3+AVC1 file = picture in MP with no sound, and picture in PowerDVD with no sound File 2: AC3 + AVC1 = picture in MP with no sound, and picture in PowerDVD with sound Thanks.:thx: ____________________________ UPDATE: Cool.
