I downloaded "qcheck" and installed it on my HTPC and another computer in my network since the the storage I was using is a NAS and I can't install programs on it. The best result was 80 mbps throughput. I then got a crossover cable the same lenghth as the original cable and connected it to my NAS and HTPC. I then played a recorded tv file and there is a big difference, its much faster. So is there something I can do configure my router to prevent it from causing the lag?
