Playlist question (1 Viewer)

i have a m3u playlist named folder.m3u located in a folder of photos. The AllowShuffle parameter is set to true. When I play the playlist from the music side, the shuffle works.

However, when I start a slideshow from the Picture side, the playlist does not shuffle.

Can anyone give me some pointers to resolve my problem?

The autoshuffle is not meant for Music.
It is meant to be done for pictures.

i'll see, if i can include it into my picture.

What I meant to say was that AllowShuffle is "yes" in the folder.m3u file. I was hoping that this will cause the music playlist to shuffle.

i'm not aware that such an option exists for m3u?
Where did you get that from? Could you post a sample please?

anyway, i'm now honoring the Autoshuffle Playlist settings from my Music.
If you have set it there, it'll shuffle the playlist.
changes are in SVN 15365

Ok, seems that I was mislead. Please see the second last entry on the following page:

Notice the "ALLOWSHUFFLE"? Well, if I now understand it correctly, that is not TRUE m3u. Sorry.

I am using SVN of 2007-09-27.

Slideshow start, music start, but music always start at song number 1. No shuffle.

Can anyone else please confirm this?

Fixed it. it's working again in latest SVN now.
