When playing music, MP sometimes skips a track. Sometimes it doesn't even happen once a session, sometimes it happens up to 4 times per album. Manually selecting the song will make MP play the song. The songs this happens to changes every time.
I added a log when I was listening to Devin Townsend Project. This time it skipped the track 02. Universe in a Ball!

Last time I listened to this cd, it skipped songs 05. Hyperdrive and 07. Ih-Ah!. These tracks were played this time.

Please post logs as the issue reported above is quite old and i'm sure you are not running the same version.

I am so sorry, that I did not response for so long time. And sorry for my englisch

I append logs and following description of the test case recorded in logs.

First I start TeamMP in debug mode. Then I select album of mp3 files and start play. Song list was:
1) Na suda a na licha – play OK
2) Prostri stul – play OK
3) Rixum pix – play OK
4) Jako zazrakem spis – skiped!!! (Why? I do not know)
5) Du du du – play OK
6) Jeste posed starej brachu – play OK
7) Az pujdu po uboci – skiped!!! (Why? I do not know)
8) Ale ze musim – play OK
I return back to song 6 – Jeste posed starej brachu and it plays OK and followed song 7 – Az pujdu po uboci plays OK, too. (Yes, it is the previously skipped song.)

That’s it.

I had the same problems with randomly skipped songs. For me it started when I turned off "fade in on start/fade out on stop" and set cross-fading to zero, as I really hate crossfading

I messed about with the settings and I now have "fade in on start/fade out on stop" turned on and cross-fading set to 1 sec and I have not had any skipping problems since.. Any lower than 1 sec and it skips again. Luckily the 1 sec cross-fade is barely noticeable.

Thanks Furious Yellow. I was having this same problem and enabling fade in/out and 1 sec fixed it for me.

you stumbled into a problem, which was randomly happening.
this has been sorted out in the new version of the music player, which will be part of 1.4.
