playlist with 2000+ mp3 not possiple (1 Viewer)

hi
when making a playlist in winamp with more than 2000 mp3s MP takes 30 minutes too even playing the fist number and then after playing a couple of numbers it take another 30 min. too load the songs again

is there a work around for that ?

iam using the RC4 with latest SVN build

its the same when playing mp3s from a folder in MP with more than 10 songs in it

sooo any ideas ?

I also have a very long delay when loading large playlists (but not so long as you, about 3-4 mins). Make sure you have scanned your music directories so that they are indexed in the MP DB. Also, if you want the playlists to start playing instantly, use the winamp external player plugin.

well i have that winamp plugin enabled
and yes i figured out what the problem was

i have id3 enabled so it seems like MP goes on the internet to grap info about the 2000 + mp3s i have and WOW that takes awhile i must say *LOL*
soo i disabled the ID3 and it now takes a couple of minuts too load the playlist witch is still a loong time but ts ok couse it plays the first number right away.
