Hi,

i'm ready to scream now. I've been looking for 2 hours on MP-site (forum&wiki) and Google and i cant find anything about how to use the "playlist"in mediaportal.

- how to make a few playlists? (if i look in the default "my playslist" folder, its empty)
- how to fill them?
- how to sync the playlist with my ipod (although i think that might be a problem).

Until now i used itunes and that worked great, MP must be better, but how?

I think this is the noobiest question i have ever asked on a forum, but i'm getting frustrated here.

:D

Lets start small. Right click on a song (or press i on remote).
    Select ADD TO PLAYLIST
    Repeat with a few songs
    Go to Current Playlist
    Select SAVE
    Give it a name.

I will try this. :D for the really quick response.
if this works, they should write it down in the manual(or i should, its opensource i know) :D

i'll be back later with the Q about my ipod.

Well i'm back. Works like a charm. i think i will drop my ipod question and do some more research in that area.

    again :D

    A few more things:

Remember that you can also edit/create this playlist files with notepad.
Ths is handy for a quick small change.

You can also google to get software to manage playlists. I can't give you names, since I do not use any of them. MP and notepad is working great for me.

You can also drop a playlist in a picture/photo folder. If you call it folder.m3u, it will automatically start playing when you view a slideshow of that folder.
