please help to get the standard remote from pinncaple work (1 Viewer)

Hi
I have got an old pinnacle tvCard and i want to use the remote control with media portal. My remote worked with the Media Center of Pinnacle but i dont know how to install it with MP. My Remote is the simple Version. I trhink you can buy two different remotes. A simple one and a pro version. I have got the simple one.The Remote must be plugged in an COM connection. Not via USB. please help me

    Does the remote work with the Serial UIR support that is built into MediaPortal?

    And do you know of any other software out there that supports this device?
