Well as my name may illustrade im trying to develop a windows 7 version of the tv-server. Well i downloaded the visual studio 2008 trial, the directx sdk and the windows sdk. So 90 days left to finish before the visual studio will expire :D After some tuning all works. I have even compiled a release version of the tv-server. And its working. Nice but useless because it has the same failure on windows 7 as it had before, but i wasn´t expecting anything else. So i started reading code, but at moment i have the problem that i don´t now who is doing what.
So will i descibe how i think it works, may be some one can tell me if im completely wrong or not that far. Have i said that i wasn´t ever coding c# :sorry:
For me i looks like the tv-server does the card administration. Checking if the card is free or used. And if the card is used if the transponder ist the same. But the real work is done through the tswriter.ax? So the tuning commands and the therefore the bda commands have to be in the txwriter.ax?

Well just solved the problem for me and installed XP. All is working nice even DXVA don´t know why that didn´t work before but now it does so there is no need for windows seven anymore. But i miss it
But what i have seen the problem in windows seven is the copyprotection. So is the bda subsystem named pbda ( protected bda ) and as i see the problem isn´t the tv-server. It´s the directshow lib but that isn´t made by the portal developers and so they have to wait as we do :D
Only for the notes. If i play a full hd video on windows seven with my core 2 duo @ 2 ghz i got 90% cpu usage. On windows xp i got 30% cpu usage. Both test have been made without dxva because my notebook doen´t have a dxva compatible graphiccard!
