I hope I am in the right place. New to MP, but not new to media center type programs. I was a long time WMC user and switched to kodi with the serverwmc for live TV. Wanted to try MP TV Server and have gotten everything setup except the blaster plugin. I have learned the commands from the remote, the blaster flashes when trying preview channel in channel setup but the channel does not change. If I use IRSS translator program I can change the channel, so I think the blaster software is configured properly.
It is an WMC transmitter/reciever
I am pulling in Directv <SD not HD, once I can get it working I plan to migrate my HD box to MP TV server, working on a dev box at the moment.>

I searched and got a lot of great information, and this is the final piece I just can not get working properly.

    Hello and welcome! :)

It sounds like you're very close to having your setup working. However I'm not able to determine what's wrong without more detailed info. Therefore please can you provide IRSS and TV Server log files.
    1. Open IRSS Input Service Configuration.
    2. Click "advanced" up the top.
    3. Ensure "verbosity level" is set to "debug".
      • If the setting is already set to "debug", move to step 4.
      • If the setting is not set to "debug":
        • set it to "debug"
        • click "OK"
        • click stop service (up the top)
        • click start start service (also up the top).
      • If there's no such setting, it's because you haven't installed the latest version of IRSS. In that case you should uninstall, reinstall and reconfigure the latest version of IRSS from -->here<--, then try preview again.
    4. Open TV Server Configuration.
    5. Go to the "general" section.
    6. Ensure "log level" is set to "debug".
      • If the setting is already set to "debug", move to step 7.
      • If the setting is not set to "debug":
        • set it to "debug"
        • go to the "manual control" section
        • click "stop service"
        • click "start service"
    7. Demonstrate the problem by going to the "TV Channels" section and trying to use preview at least 3 times.
    8. Click "open log directory" in the top left corner.
    9. Zip all the files in that folder. This gives you zip file #1.
    10. Open Windows Explorer.
    11. Copy and paste c:\ProgramData\IR Server Suite\Logs into the address bar and press enter.
    12. Zip all the files in that folder. This gives you zip file #2.
    13. Attach ("upload a file") the two zip files to your next reply.
Don't hesitate to ask if you get stuck with any of the above instructions.

Thanks for the response! I think I finally figured it out. for some reason, in the set top box settings, it was using the wrong IR codes. I played around (honestly not sure what I did to make it work) but it is working like a champ now.
