Here you have error.log I could retrieve from last hang:
2009-06-12 00:36:03.680551 [SetupTv]: ServiceHelper: Could not check whether the tvservice is running. Please check your network as well. Error: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No se puede establecer una conexión ya que el equipo de destino denegó expresamente dicha conexión 127.0.0.1:31456 Server stack trace: en System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Connect(IPAddress[] addresses, Int32 port) en System.Runtime.Remoting.Channels.RemoteConnection.CreateNewSocket(AddressFamily family) en System.Runtime.Remoting.Channels.RemoteConnection.CreateNewSocket() en System.Runtime.Remoting.Channels.RemoteConnection.GetSocket() en System.Runtime.Remoting.Channels.SocketCache.GetSocket(String machinePortAndSid, Boolean openNew) en System.Runtime.Remoting.Channels.Tcp.TcpClientTransportSink.SendRequestWithRetry(IMessage msg, ITransportHeaders requestHeaders, Stream requestStream) en System.Runtime.Remoting.Channels.Tcp.TcpClientTransportSink.ProcessMessage(IMessage msg, ITransportHeaders requestHeaders, Stream requestStream, ITransportHeaders& responseHeaders, Stream& responseStream) en System.Runtime.Remoting.Channels.BinaryClientFormatterSink.SyncProcessMessage(IMessage msg) Exception rethrown at [0]: en System.Runtime.Remoting.Proxies.RealProxy.HandleReturnMessage(IMessage reqMsg, IMessage retMsg) en System.Runtime.Remoting.Proxies.RealProxy. Implementations.DVB.ConditionalAccess..ctor(IBaseFilter tunerFilter, IBaseFilter analyzerFilter, IBaseFilter winTvUsbCiFilter, TvCardBase card) 2009-06-12 00:36:06.100551 [SetupTv]: ServiceHelper: Could not check whether the tvservice is running. As I told you, it's not a complete hang... mouse moves, clock is running on in windows taskbar, I can see resource monitor showing them in graphs... but the moment I try to change window, Windows hangs and I must reset. Ctrl+Alt+Del can't show it's dialog, and I get an error saying there's not resources for the dialog to be shown... The test is allways the same: preview channel in setuptv.exe, or viewing TV from a remote machine... After a while (may be 1 hour, 2 minutes) it stops responding... :( I'm really desperate... and I don't want to format... :( I've installed SP2 today... and if no luck, I'll try to do a complete Windows Vista restore with CD... I'm really tired...
