Please point me in the right direction...Custom WebEPG (1 Viewer)

Please don't hate me, I've been looking for hours and still confused if not more so...

So I've found HOW to do a grabber file to pull EPG from the IMDB, but now what? I've looked on the Wiki and didn't get it, found https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/setup-webepg-for-ota-hd-in-usa.50377/#post393174 and it made sense. I created the XML and passes the 'open in IE' test.

I just can't find out where to go from here? Where do I put this file? How do I get WebEPG to use it? The Wiki shows the required folders/files but I cannot find them. I've named my channels under the TV card to match the IDs in the XML so I think I got that figured out.

If I can just get started using this custom XML file, I think I can go from there.

I think what you need is the XMLTV plugin.

That plugin imports the XML file that you generated into the EPG database. You tell TV Server where to find the XML file, then you link up channels in the XML file with channels in TV Server, then you import the data.

Don't be hesitant about singing out if that doesn't make sense and you need more help.

Ah, I thin I got a bit ahead. The path I was looking for was C:\Program Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\WebEPG\Grabbers\US. The wiki guide mentioned C:\Program Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal but I guess I didn't see that. I ploped in my XML, it is now an available grabber, it seems linked to my channels, and is grabbing now. I have to go now so I can't see it finish for a bit, but thanks so far!

If you are looking for help with US WebEPG setup, maybe you should move to the WebEPG forum. I sent a message with an updated grabber file and a README file with some info on how to get this setup. If you have questions maybe ask in that thread, look at
