sweborn, to give you an update, this feature will be in the next release which should be out soon... final testing and then new added functionality will be available for all to enjoy

DVDArt_Plugin v1.0.2.0 has just been released. This version has enhanced DVD artwork creation where you can choose to use a text title or else the Clearlogo. When the Clearlogo exists and is used, it will be added instead of the text title making the DVD artwork look more professional

Another addition to the plugin is the functionality where you have the option to pull from themoviedb.org Actors, Directors and Writers photos. To enable this option, go to the plugin configuration from MediaPortal configuration and enable the option and set the download path from the Movies tabs within Settings tab, then restart the plugin configuration and from the tab Actors/Writers/Directors missing picture, right click on any name and choose Rescan all missing.

The Actors/Writers/Directors images will look as below:

I have installed the latest plugin and now got a problem. After starting the plugin I get an error message. When I hit continue, the plugins starts but the database couldn't be loaded. No movie or music is listed. Can someone help me please?

Seems it is failing when it is trying to load the Series. Do you have Series configured and used it before this update?

Also, what version of MediaPortal are you using?

At the moment I have no series stored and so I have disabled "ClearArt and HD ClearArt" and "ClearLogo" and the path in series tab in DVDArt plugin. Now it works, I'm also not using MyTvSeries plugin. I'm using MP 1.5.
