Hi guys, with all new technology and bigger storage, it's possible to Add Flac or equivalent for ripp lossless
,ans maybe add AAC support, (seems to be better than MP3) ?

The issue is not the format but the process of ripping and particularly metadata.
I think all of the formats are supported but can't be ripped inside MP.

If I had my way I would remove the ripping to MP3 code we have now....

There is a plugin (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/mediaslayer-cd-and-dvd-hd-ripping-tool.37606/) that should allow this anyway

Oops, i did not know, that a plugin already exist and is more complet !
i'm agree with you for delete MP3 ripping ( if need many work, for maintenance)
Ps : TAK codec is not supported by BASS
