Plugin for DV Camcorder Play, anyone? (1 Viewer)

Hope this is the right play for new plugin requests.

Ain't no programmer so I'm asking to a plugin dev.

Wouldn't be nice to have a plugin that interfaces the DV camcorder driver to play-ff-rw-stop on fullscreen the DV movies straight from the videocamera?

Let say a friend of yours come to your home, plug the camera to your HTPC and you play it using the MS remote.

Maybe even grabbing the files to hard disk.

Sounds fantastic! You just need a button in My Movies like the Play DVD button - something like DV Camera.

From there you just use the OSD to control the camera. Don't really need to dump the footage to disk, it's probably better to use a dedicated program to take care of this editing than trying to fit all the functionality in to MP.
