"Plugin" to integrate other Programms ( Taskchange) (1 Viewer)

Hello Mediaportalfriends,


On my Computer who works Mediaportal i have start two other Programms.
My Weatherstationprogramm and my Building-Automation Software.

Both Programms must allways run and i can not shutdown this.

At the Moment i change these Programms with "ALT <--->" ( Taskchange).

And now here my Questions.

Can i integrate these Programms in Mediaportal so, that Mediaportal open these Programms in front and when i close these than Mediaportal come in front?


Please help me and please pardon my bad english.

Have you had a look at the "MyPrograms" plugin ? It is integrated in MediaPortal and accessable via the "Plugins" section.

thank you for your answer.

yes, i had looked in "myPrograms". In this Menue i can open and close any Programms. That was not the straight tip.

It's a bit outside the scope of MediaPortal to do what you're asking. What you really need is a third application that controls everything, something like Girder, HIP or EventGhost.

Either that or a plugin for MediaPortal that will let you task swap.

Are you using an IR remote control?
