Plugins for 1.1 RC1 available? (1 Viewer)

Just a question: Is it possible to install the essential plugins in MediaPortal 1.0 RC1?
"Essentials" for me are the
- UpnP- Browser to get access to the music provided ba an uonp- server withiin the network
- ShoutCast- Plugin to get good radio music, for example sky.fm
- OnlineVideos Plugin for IPTV, Youtube etc.
- Mein Kinoprogramm /Showtimes- Plugin
In a first try the plugins could not ge installed.

You need to locate the old MPI installer and run it manually to install older plugins as they are not compatible with the new MPE installer.

On my Vista machine it is located at

Program Files/Team MediaPortal/MediaPortal/MPInstaller.exe

Thx for asvise, UpnP- Browser is running in V1.1.0 RV1, but Shotcast, OnlineVideos and Kinoprogramm are no trunning in V1.1.0 RC1.

I have the Shoutcast directory plugin working ok in 1.1.0 rc1.

I haven't tried to install Shoutcast on the last two builds because I heard it was not working. Did you have to do anything special for success?

No, I just used the MPi Instaler located at the location posted above, clicked install and browsed to the shoutcast pugin and it installed just fine with the following:



MediaPortalSetup_1.1.0_RC-1_rev25080

ShoutcastDirectoryPlugin-0.9.2.mpi

StreamedMP-0.9.601

Vista Ultimate x64 SP2

Try right clicking on the MPi and select the second MPinstaller...
