Been testing MP a bit lately and tried different RC's, I'm currently using RC4 without any SVN updates.

My problem is that on a couple of TV stations the soundquality is poor (kind of scraping sound), and on one of the channels the TV quality is poor. The rest of the channels works perfectly.

What do you guys think causes this, is it a program, driver or codec issue? Currently using Nvidia codec..

Will a SVN update correct this??

Sounds somewhat familiar to something I have experienced as well.

In my case it seems that the audio fades in/out quite abruptly and continuously. But, I have noticed it only happens on one channel (haven't noticed any others yet). I use the PVR150 and am currently running RC4(no SVN) on WinXP. My MPEG codec is set to Ligos for audio and video. If anyone with the smarts of how this all works is kind enough to share their opinions, I am sure it would be much appreciated.

The Hauppauge drivers for the 150 (and the 500 too, I believe) are infamous for their audio problems. Go to http://www.shspvr.com and you'll find lengthy discussions in the forums about audio issues. You'll also find beta drivers in the forum that correct the problems.
