ports blocked (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

Heard from a mate the other day that i can watch tv on my computer by just installing some media software.
Installed the latest mediaportal along with all the other required files.
Setup mysql connection was fine, but now when i go into tv-setup and use my computers correct host name it says:

Some ports seem to be blocked

31456 (TCP) RemoteControl
554 (TCP)RTSP streaming
1433(TCP)MS SQL Server

I've also turned my firewall off so that cant be the problem.


Whats wrong guys, any ideas?

I am having this same problem. It used to work fine, but now it does not for some (unknown) reason.

I have the same problem. I discovered something while testing something else. On my router, if i remove the IP from my ISP, media portal works like a charm. But when I connect back on with the router, it does not work. So i did some other things. I tried to ping my tv server(computer name is "tvserver") while connected to the internet and I get a response from my ISP. When I d\disconnect from the internet, i can ping "tvserver" no problem.

Is there any sugestions as to why this is happening. btw, windows firewall is off.
