Just started using this plugin, so not sure if this is expected or known behaviour.
I typically play most of my music through external playlists (.m3u) and use UNC's in the playlist so other remote clients can use them as well. However, when I play songs via a UNC playlist, last.fm never gets updated with the played information for these files. If I play the individual songs, or use a playlist with absolute paths, no problem, last.fm library gets updated.
